B.I.G Carpentry Pty Ltd ranks WHS equally as important as other major business objectives – all personnel have a duty of care. B.I.G Carpentry Pty Ltd is committed to working to the NT WorkSafe Health & Safety Act & Regulations, (National Uniform Legislation) Act 2012 and believe all injuries & accidents are avoidable. To this effect, our employees are encouraged to:
- Identify hazards and actively reduce the risk of injury or illness to themselves and others
- Be active in the JSEA
- Report all hazards/accidents or near misses immediately
Our WHS Systems are continually monitored and upgraded. The Health and Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring all personnel are kept abreast of changes and adhere to policies at all times.
B.I.G Carpentry Pty Ltd is actively involved within the community and sponsors numerous community events, sporting organisations, groups and Individuals. In addition, contribute to the sustainability of the building industry through education and training including apprenticeships, traineeships and work experience.
